I dare you…

I dare you to set your alarm one hour earlier than you would normally get up, set your phone across the room so you can’t hit snooze so easily, and actually get up and create a morning routine! Try it for ONE WEEK. I dare you!

I have always been a early bird but I would wake up and binge watch the today show and drink probably 3 cups of coffee. My morning routine has not always looked how it does today. It has taken me time to tweak but it’s something that I cherish now.

Waking up before my kids and filling my cup truly has made the biggest difference in my life. Getting in God’s word, reading personal development, working out, and just having a few minutes to myself in the mornings truly helps set the tone for my day.

I feel less rushed and more patient throughout the day, less anxious and more prepared, less disorganized and a little more on top of things😅 (I’m a mom of 3 with one on the way… I don’t have it all together folks✌🏼)

But seriously… I challenge you… Stop hitting snooze for one week and see what it does for your life. Place your phone in another room so you actually have to get up and turn your alarm off. Another trick you can try is the moment you get out of the bed to turn your alarm off, go ahead and pull the sheets up so you don’t feel tempted to crawl back in!
